Our Objectives

Priorities For O-Day' Min

My commitment is to bring practical, responsible, and forward-thinking leadership to City Hall. Here are the key pillars of my platform.

An Affordable and well run City

My first priority is ensuring our city is managed responsibly, respects your tax dollars, and delivers the reliable services you depend on.

A Thriving and Compassionate Community

A great city is defined by its quality of life and how we care for one another. My focus will be on building a vibrant, inclusive, and caring community.

Accountable Leadership with a Strong Voice

My job is to represent you. I will be an accessible, vocal, and principled advocate for our community and our city.

Meet Your Candidate

Hello, my fellow citizens. My name is Adil Pirbhai, and I am pleased to introduce myself as a candidate for O-day’min City Council. Thank you for taking a few minutes to read about me and my campaign.

I have lived in this community for over 30 years. By profession, I am an accountant, but my true passion has always been my community. This passion is why I am an active volunteer, dedicating my time to organizations like the Christmas Bureau, the Canadian Red Cross, and the Heritage Festival. I’ve also helped with fundraisers for various causes, including supporting New Orleans and helping children with cancer.

Racial Tensions Flare at West-Fed Separatist Rally

A West-Fed Association rally in Edmonton, intended to promote the cause of western separatism, devolved into a hostile and tense confrontation. The event became memorable not for its political arguments against Prime Minister Trudeau, but for the ugly exchanges between supporters and hecklers. The evening was marred by racial slurs directed at Adil Pirbhai, a Canadian citizen of East Indian descent who silently protested the speeches. West-Fed founder Elmer Knutson, who organized the rally, later expressed his disappointment with the vitriolic outbursts that defined the event

Why I Am Running

I have the passion, the desire, and the experience to contribute to the betterment of Edmonton.

We are incredibly lucky to live here, in a dynamic city with the best citizens. But like any major city, we have challenges to tackle, from homelessness to affordability. I am not afraid to ask the uncomfortable questions and make the tough decisions necessary to solve these problems.

I have the energy and the drive to work tirelessly for the residents of O-day’min. I hope I am fortunate enough to be elected as your councillor on October 20, 2025.

Then, we can roll up our sleeves and work together to make our city’s core even more vibrant.
